Iran ‘Lottery’ reaches Fajr filmfest

New Iranian film ‘Lottery’ has found way to Fajr National Filmfest’s office for inclusion at Iran major cinematic event.

A media report said Thursday that Mohammad Hossein Mahdavian’s new cinematic offer applied for inclusion in the 36th edition of Fajr National Film Festival to be held in 2018.    

'Midday Event' and ‘Standing in the Dust’ acclaimed director cast noted Iranian actors such as Hamid Faroukhnejad and Hadi Hejazifar in ‘Lottery’.

Media reports previously said Mohammad-Javad Ezzati as well as a new star Ziba Karamali playing a female lead will be among the cast members.

Javad Ezzati cooperated with Mahdavian in his previous project, ‘Midday Event’, which won awards at the 35th Fajr Film Festival.

Some parts of the film were planned to be captured outside Iran and the rest of the shooting would be done in Tehran.
